It's Shrove Tuesday so if you are Shopping in Llanrwst today remember to buy the ingredients to make Pancake.
We asked two of Llanrwst's residents how they made their perfect Pancake.
These are their recipes:
Elwyn's Pancake, Caffi Contessa
15oz of flour
5 eggs
5oz of sugar
Pinch of salt
15ml of milk
10ml of water
Mix and cook the usual way.
(This mix is great for Yorkshire Puddings if you omit the sugar)
On the pancake:
Strawberry Jam and Ice Cream
Sugar and Lemon Juice
Banana, Nutella and Ice Cream
Orange and Grand Marnier
Caffi Contessa will be serving Pancakes throughout Shrove Tuesday.
Nelson's Pancake, Lle Hari
Some self raising flour
2 eggs
Tablespoon of vegetable oil
Add milk until it's runny
(add more milk to make thin crepes)
Mix and cook the usual way.
On the pancake:
Warm Maple syrup with Peanut Butter
